nicer than I imagined and also I was surprised to see three dolls instead of one.

How I do love your paper dolls! They are so beautiful and professional! All of the books are beautiful and I do hope to see more by David Wolfe and Marilyn Henry. I liked the way that David shows Marsha Hunt's actual clothes and the pictures of her wearing them. Fantastic! I had never dreamed of owning any of the vintage celebrity paper dolls (they are way beyond my budget!), but thanks to your publishing company, I now have an entire box filled with them! And, in many ways, the repros are so much better than the originals, not only because you have "enhanced" them (David Wolfe's extra pages for "Grace Kelly," for example, and Marilyn coloring in the fashions for "Esther Williams" coloring book, PLUS the bios), but also because for a perpetual paper doll cutter like me, I can cut out your books to my heart's content without having to feel guilty about it! (I mean, really, who in their right mind would cut out an actual vintage celebrity book????). I am also thrilled that you are having contemporary artists make celebrity books. I hope Marilyn Henry, Norma Lu Meehan, and Judy M Johnson do even more celebrity books--or any book for that matter--for Paper Studio Press. They have a very pretty and delicate style of drawing that I think appeals to most women. I love David Wolfe's artwork too, but mainly for the very strong, over-the-top, larger-than-life celebrities.

This book features a wide variety of sample works of well known paper doll artist including my favorite Tom Tierney. If you're a fan of costumes and paper dolls this is a great addition. This books is also great for someone just starting on this interest to expose themselves to the current artist of the day.
